Happy to report I got all my precious babies back after the Demon Daughter took them on school camp with her. She was unimpressed with the fact I’d stolen all her pillows in retaliation, and my sock drawer has remained unplundered ever since. Victory is mine!Something That’s Definitely Giving Me Life:
Two ounces of blanco tequila, three of pomegranate juice, a squeeze of lime, shaken with ice, topped up with a little soda water, garnished with a sprig of rosemary. No sugar syrup needed, and I personally believe salt rims on cocktails are a war crime, but that’s just me. I’m calling it the “Pomila” or “Lauretta’s Had Enough For Today, She Needs A Drink.”
