MORE MARIE!

6th may, 2026

Release day! The next instalment in Marie’s adventures is here, and wow, the early feedback from this one has been incredible.

We have a BIG reveal in this one, and I’ve been building up to this for the last four books. I was very nervous about how this would land, and so far, the reception has been awesome.

Actually, I tell a lie, there’s two big reveals in this one. A double sucker-punch of reveals. A two-for-one reveal deal. Let me know if you saw that plot twist coming!

The Eternity College Chronicles will wrap up with One Big Bite, and after that, we’re moving on to focus on a new character – someone who has been introduced in Marie’s series. Can you guess who it will be?

You can grab my new release, Worse Than Her Bite, here.

WHAT’S GIVING ME LIFE/DRAINING ME DRY THIS MONTH:

Bowen Therapy:

I’m a bit of a wellness junkie and I’m always looking for new ways to soothe my minor aches and pains. I just had my second session of Bowen therapy from a master practitioner. It’s crazy, it’s the tiniest, most gentle touch from the therapist at particular points of the body in a particular sequence, and after the first session, I felt like a caterpillar that’s been broken down into goo in a cocoon.

After the second session, I swear I walked out three inches taller. I’m sleeping more than eight hours a night, which is amazing for me.

Saying that, I am very susceptible to the power of suggestion and placebos tend to work on me just as well as medication. So if a magician told me that I was a chicken, you’ll hear nothing but squawking from me for the rest of the day.

My Puppy Is Destroying Everything

Ziggy is six months old now, and he was pretty good to start with, but at some point in the last three weeks, he’s started assuming that anything left on the ground is a toy to be annihilated. He’s ripped up cushions and some towels, turned a packet of sponges into confetti, and my backyard looks like WW2 trench warfare. I suspect there might be a little T-Rex mixed in with that Irish Wolfhound and Border Collie. Lola isn’t helping, in fact, I think she might be encouraging him.

Currently watching:

I’m sad to say I gave up on House of the Dragon midway into the first episode. Not that it wasn’t good, I’m just not in the mood for that amount of blood and guts right now. But saying that I immediately moved on to Reacher, which was fun, and I’m going to watch The Vampire Lestat next.

Okay, on to some book news!

Worse than her bite is available now!

Everything is falling into place.

There are only a couple of months to go before I turn eighteen, and I can take custody of my baby brother. My mother is still pretending I don’t exist, which is a relief. Ronan is a little further along in the grieving process and not being such a giant sad sack anymore, which is also fantastic. We’ve got the blood witch on the run, and we’ve got plans to shrink the Hellmouth so nothing else can come out. I’ve even started making weapons for my Iron Man suit.

Therapy is going well, too. I’m starting to understand myself a little bit better. Especially with certain… realizations I’ve had lately.

Everything in my life is working out for the best. And I can’t imagine anything possibly going wrong…

Right?

Worse Than Her Bite is book five in the Eternity College Chronicles, a fun new supernatural comedy and urban fantasy series that’s a little bit Buffy The Vampire Slayer, a little bit Wednesday, and a whole lot of Big Bang Theory.
