15th FEBRUARY, 2026
February is almost done and dusted, and wow, what WAS that? For such a short month, it really did pack in a lot of chaos. Maybe it was because my January was so relaxed, I seriously feel like I’ve been dodging flying bricks for the whole month.
But the good news is, I’m sure that March is going to be the best month ever, for everyone. My astrology buddies reassure me that the planets are going to be chill for once, which sounds nice. And the weather will be milder no matter what hemisphere you’re in.
There’s also some awesome reading to be had. Aria Ashbrook finally released their dark romantassy, (which is absolutely excellent, the best romantassy ever), and I’ve just finished Annabel Chases’s new urban fantasy Bound By Fate, which was a hilarious read.
Next up on my Kindle is Brogan Thomas’s new release, Bitten By Magic. I love all of Brogan’s books and I can’t wait to dive in.
As for me, I’ve been polishing up the latest installment in Marie’s adventures, which will be releasing at the end of March. You can preorder Worth Every Bite here.
What’s keeping me sane/driving me crazy this month?
The Great Sock Wars
In my last report, I was confident that we had enough sock stock to keep the whole family afloat. Only two short weeks later, my drawer of lovely soft socks is now sad and empty every time I open it.
Demon Daughter denies any wrongdoing as she’s just been given some nice socks of her own, and I have yet to find any evidence that it’s her decimating my drawers.
Worryingly, I did catch Lola with one of my socks in her mouth the other day. Perhaps a new enemy has surfaced.
I’ll keep you posted.
Good shows
I’m giving Bridgerton a go, mostly because I know that eventually I have to move on from my Heated Rivalry obsession. If you have any recommendations for a good show that really punches you in the feels, let me know!
Okay, so I’ll admit it, I don’t usually like people very much. The only person I love in this world is Ackie, my baby brother, and I don’t need anyone else.
I have contemporaries, I have enemies, I have minions. I don’t have friends. I don’t even have a home.
Until now.
The list of people I would burn the world down for has expanded rapidly, and our home is under threat.
I don’t do things by halves. The angel on my shoulder is begging me to behave, but honestly… This is her fault for wanting me to have friends in the first place.
